HAIRSPRAYS been trying since 2003!! I just one day i can welcome the 60s in London instead of having to pay to go to NYC to see it!! I think they will speed and try 200% to get it in before Spring 07 as the film could be released and that will generate interest.

Avenue Q is reportedly heading to The Novello Theatre from June (Ex Strand Theatre) and Caroline, Or Change will open at The National Theatre at the end of 06

Wow..it's a little sad I'm going in Jan-May...all those shows go when I leave!!!

except Movin' Out..I'll see Saturday Night Fever before it closes and then Movin out when it opens!

Why is Movin' Out only a limited engagment? I mean I realize Wicked is opening after, but why do you think they didn't make it an open ended run?

Well, MOVIN OUT is stopping in London as part of a European Tour. My guess is that they feel that the show is decidedly American and probably wouldn't sustain an open ended run in the West End. Is Billy Joel even popular in the UK?
