Last week, while visiting London, I was lucky to see five musicals. This stage adaptation of the Stephen Frears was one of them. With a lukewarm score, the show has its good moments, but on the whole it lacks excitement and emotion. You can read my read my review and see some production photos at:

I basically agree with you. (I saw it last month). However one thing that made it worthwhile for me was that its setting was a West End theatre - and this was essential to the show. Seeing it IN a West End theatre gave it resonance. Additionally, looking around the largely local audience, you could see that if they weren't alive during the blitz, they certainly had grown up hearing firsthand stories about it.
There were slim pickings for shows that aren't Broadway transfers or dubious hen party jukebox musicals. I was looking for an English show and it filled the bill nicely.
Anyone know which characters sing each of the songs? Was there a song list in the program? I've only been able to find song lists without character info.

There's a song list in the program with the character information. If you wish, I can scan it and send it to you. Just give me an email address to where I can send it.

I went in with very low expectations fearing it was going to be yet another WW musical following the rather dull Betty Blue Eyes. I was absolutely charmed off my socks with this. The score is actually not so great-but the show flows very well and the cast was fantastic.
It closed on June 18th. I liked this musical and hoped it would have lasted longer at the Noel Coward theatre.
