I'm thinking about legally changing my name to Lizzie Curry...
Raul, while upset that this has happened, must be faced with an incredible opportunity here.
He gets to perform a role in a Mamet play with three of the finest actors out there right now. To get to do it once is one thing, but three times is absolutely spectacular.

Macy, Butz and ...? Moss? The understudy? Certainly Piven doesn't rank up there with "the finest actors out there". Mercury or no mercury.
Wait, there's student rush for this? Oh hells yes! :) And thanks for the link and suggestion, HollyDiver, but I'm in NY from February 13th until the 2nd of March and those expire in January. That's why I was asking for any that are mid-February. That being said, if rush is available I will so be doing that. Speaking of which, has anyone tried this lately? I'm sure it will be different by then (later in the run, close to the end, with Macy instead) but I'd like to get a feel for whether or not I should buy a ticket ahead of time. Would have liked to see Piven, but I will LOVE seeing Macy. I wrote on another website when someone complained that they had bought a ticket for Piven and now he was gone: "You're lucky. Macy + Mamet = Godly"
I'm really excited. I'll be driving in for a day from Ohio in January to catch Norbert. I'd been planning to come in early February to catch the show, but now it looks like I'll be seeing it twice :)
Norbert and Raul in the same show. That is going to be EPIC. <3
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
The understudy (Jordan something, I'm blanking on his last name) did REALLY well. You would never have known he'd only gone on a handful of times. His timing was fantastic, and he was really locked in with the rhythm. He had, with three performances under his belt, what it took Jeremy almost up until opening to fully get down. The house wasn't very full, but the audience was very supportive.
