my picks for the replacement are as follows; (after all i have a feeling this role, like the wizard will be the broadway equivalent of boca ratton for broadway legends)
-angela landsbury
-bea aurthur
-elaine strich
non legend who i'd like to see
-christine baranski

one other thing- do they put a bald cap on carole as the wigs progress? She said herself that the hairline gets further and further back as the character becomes more evil, and the final one starts in the middle of her head. So is that all lace or what?

I agree with Angela Lansbury - it would be great to see her return to that theatre.

When I saw the show, I was surprised that Morrible's role was actually bigger than I thought. Carole Shelley was great, tho

I doubt Angela Landsbury would return to the stage as a replacement cast member in a supporting role.

Maybe they'll bring Carol Kane in from the tour.

well she hasn't been on stage in a while and its a rather low impact part.

The tour hasn't even started yet; if the pluck Carol Kane (or anyone else) at this point, I'll be very upset.
