I enjoyed Memphis, and I also enjoyed the show in Vegas. The movie was dark when they weren't on stage, I'm wondering how they'll deal with that knowing people will come mostly to stare at men in pleather....
This just seems like it's begging for a creepier than usual stage door experience. I do wonder if they could somehow make the wannabe-carpenter with a cardboard love interest more compelling but leaning into this as a fun experience makes more sense for longevity.
So for casting. It wouldnt surprise me if they keep cheyenne Jackson (which yay). Matt Doyle (yay). Derek Klena. But Im also kinda expecting Charlie Williams to be attached.
As much as I would also love to see Ryan Steele and Matt bomer in this. Im doubtful. (With Ryan that would also make for a weird former love triangle situation. )
