I can't hear the Alabama Song - Jenny's entrance number in the opera - without flashing back to Jim Morrison and the Doors - first album.

Faced with these Loreleis, what man can moralize!

She was singing "Alabama Song"

There is a famous version of this song by The Doors.

Note: this is not a translation. The song is always sung in English - even when the rest of the opera is sung in German.

A lot of people have covered the song. It really wish i could see this show. Audra will do an excellent job in this part. It is so diffrent from what she has got to play before.
