Does anyone know if theaters would allow an elderly (90-yr old) person to be allowed to enter and sit before the doors officially open? I'm bringing my mother-in-law and she can't stand for very long-----I don't want her waiting outside.

All of the theatres try to be very accomodating.
Simply let the box office/ushers know you need special assitance when you arrive.
The houses open at 7:30... or a half hour before curtain.

Thank-U. Our tix are for the matinee today----and we'll be getting her there about 1:15 (for parking purposes), so, hopefully, they'll let her in, so she doesn't have to stand outside. (We'll going to let her out in front of the theater (with me) and then my husband will go park)
She used to be an actress and LOVES the stage---so this will, hopefully, be a special treat for her.

I hope she has a wonderful time! You're very kind to be doing this for her.
Since you specified the Majestic, I might think you are seeing PHANTOM?

Yes---I thought Phantom would be wonderful for her. We took her to see Les Miz about 5 or so years ago (the prior one). She loved it!
I'm nervous tho' today----I hope she can get in a little early.

Posted: 3/12/08 at 9:25amI have seen this done before, at the Majestic no less, so there should be no problem. Enjoy the show.

Posted: 3/12/08 at 9:25amI just called telecharge---they said that no one can get in before 1:30---so I'll have to figure out a way to get her there at exactly that time.

Enjoy PHANTOM
One of the best there is and ever will be as far as I'm concerned.
I'm sure it will be fine arriving at 1:30 for the 2 O'clock matinee, but don't trust Telecharge. They don't run the theatres
Arrive at say 1:15 and see what happens
Let us know how it goes and how she enjoys it.
