Malcolm Gets
Malcolm Gets#0
Posted: 11/25/05 at 3:04pmDoes anyone have a clue what he's doing these days? I know that "Adam & Steve" is due in theaters in April 2006. I'm going to be in New York a few times in the next few months and would love to see him in something - anything. Rumors? Speculation?

Posted: 11/25/05 at 3:08pmI LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM. :) He needs to be doing something on Broadway!

Posted: 11/25/05 at 3:12pmI agree. I love him too. From your lips to casting agent's ears

Posted: 11/25/05 at 3:18pmBarbara Cook's concert at the Met in January is supposed to have "surprise guests." Any chances he'll be one of them again?

Posted: 11/25/05 at 3:31pmThat would be great. I saw them at Carnegie Hall in 2001. But I'm hoping for a Broadway show. Something more than one or two nights.

Me too but I love him and really wish he would do something else. I really want to see him perform, I just love his voice.

Posted: 11/26/05 at 8:44amYes, he also did the William Finn concert at the Merkin in NYC at the end of October...he is around off and on for one-night events. Yes, he does need a new Broadway show. Nice guy.

Posted: 11/28/05 at 12:24pmHe is a nice guy, very talented too. Hopefully we'll be hearing good news soon. I remember that there was talk of bringing "Finian's Rainbow" to Broadway in a limited run, since that show was so successful at the Irish Rep and again this summer at the Westport Country Playhouse. There was also talk of reviving the Apple Tree on Broadway. Either of those would be terrific. But I would like to see him in something new.

Posted: 11/28/05 at 12:56pmI saw him when I went to SEE WHAT I WANNA SEE last week, he was sitting right behind me. Does that count?
re: Malcolm Gets#11
Posted: 11/28/05 at 1:09pmSure, but seeing him on stage rather than in the audience would be better. Don't you think?
re: Malcolm Gets#12
Posted: 11/28/05 at 2:18pmHe is on his way to SUNDANCE to do a workshop of DOLL by Michael Korie and Scott Frankel directed by Lonny Price with EMILY SKINNER, MARY TESTA, BRENT BARRETT, RUTH GOTTSCHALL, DAN SHARKEY, STEVE ROUTMAN, MARK VIETOR, ALICIA IRVING and EMILY RABON HALL.

Well it doesn't look like anything in in New York is looming for Malcolm but his movie is coming out at the end of March. Here's a link to a poster from "Adam & Steve"
