Well said! I was thinking the same thing.
"Theater fans" who have no interest in giving a new show a chance, then turn around and complain when there is nothing new to see on Broadway can not really be theater fans.

I love movies, too, but that doesn't mean that I can't wait to see every one.
There's so much theatre in this city, I have to prioritize what I want to see. And so far, there's nothing about this one that makes me feel like I should see it over something that has.
It's the producers' and marketers' job to make me want to see it. Not trust that I'll blindly go see anything that they put in a theatre.
