I searched for this and didn't find anything. Has anyone been to the stage door for Mame in D.C.? I'm seeing the show Tuesday and am really hoping to meet Christine Baranski and Emily Skinner. Should I have any hope? Thanks!

hello you lucky person You will love Mame saw it two weeks ago and loved it and hope they bring it to Broadway

the stage door is on the opposite end of the building from where you see the show when you exit the show walk down the few theater steps passed the sales booth for the show and onto the promenade outside and walk to your right Walk in the direction of the Watergate Complex. Walk to the end of that promenade and then make a right that promenade is parallel to the Watergate complex and walk three quarters of the way down to the stage door . Its not noticeable but the cast will come out and everyone is wonderful

Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy

I'm not close to the show at all, I just hope to see it on Broadway one of these days.

IDK care if she's 70, put Angela back on! Ahh, imagine the glory of seeing her name on the marquee with the original Mame cartoon.

I had two great experiences at the Mame stage door:

On June 1, I met many of the ensamble, as well as Alan Muroka (Ito) and Ed Dixon (M. Lindsay Woolsey). I beiefly met Christine Baranski that night as well, but she was in a hurry to leave. She was tired, her Daughters were with her, and she had her hands full with dozens of flowers she ahd received that night.

Last Sunday night was even better. I met Alan for the second time. I also met Emily Skinner (Agnes Gooch), and Jeff McCarthy (...Burnside). I also got the chance to meet Christine and spend a few minutes talking to her. I told het that I have been a fan of hers for years (since the movie Bowfinger). She signed a playbill for me, and a Sweeney Todd poster they were selling in the gift shop. She lit up when she saw the poster. I told her, and told her that I met her co-star in that Kennedy Center production (Brian Stokes Mitchell) a week earlier in NYC. Finally, I got a picture with her (Which I have uploaded to my fan photos). I am only sorry I did not get to meet either Max Von Essen or Harriet Harris when I went to see the show. Max rushed out both times I went and Harriet was injured last Sunday night and did not come out (Although I did meet her sister). You will have a great time at the stage door!

Do you know what kind of injury she had, was it something bad? Hopefully not! And I didn't know that she has a sister, wow.

I don't know what kind of injury she had. All I know is that called out the stage door for her sister to come backstage. She said she had to fill out a form because she was hurt, and neither of them came back out. I hope she was not hurt too badly.

Me neither, hopefully it won't affect her role, so she can't go on stage at all. That would be bad. From what I read she got rave reviews.

Damn. I totally forgot Jeff McCarthy was in this. *whines* I wanna see this come to broadway!

Is it terrible to say I'm glad that Emily wasn't the one who was injured for once?
