I was wondering if there was ever a recording made of the original Broadway Cast, or if the only recording is the London Cast. And if there was one made then where can you buy, cause I have been searching the internet and am confused with my results.
Thanks a lot.

No OBC recording which is a real shame considering the show's success. I blame Louise!
Wasn't there a foreign one just released?

The German Cast Recording is amazing even though it's sung in German. "The Winner Takes It All" is stunning! The recording was made live (it even includes the preshow announcement) but the quality of it is amazing. Highly recommended. And your friends will be amazed to hear those familiar songs sung in another language.

Posted: 7/13/06 at 1:45amI just wish there was something besides the London cast because it's awful. The sound quality is horrible and the performances aren't great at all. I much preferred the American cast. Oh well. They should at least make a Les Vegas cast recording or something. The London recording doesn't do justice for this show. But I guess it continues to sell, so we won't ever get one.

Posted: 7/13/06 at 3:13pmI find the London cast recording passable, but it had nothing on the Broadway cast. Louise Pitre, Judy Kaye and Karen Mason rocked. Also, I thought David W. Keeley made the best Sam of the ones I have seen and heard thus far. Other than him, it always seems they cast this role with someone who has a weak voice.
