Manchester Goes Below Zero

...for a 'White Christmas'!
The lucky people of Manchester have a great show to look forward to this Christmas in the form of 'White Christmas'.
London is missing out big time for the third Christmas in a row with this hugely enjoyable production. (Far, far superior to the Broadway production of last year!)

Aled Jones and Adam Cooper have just been announced as the two male leads.
Also in the cast are Suzanne Shaw, Roy Dotrice, Louise Plowright and Rachel Stanley.
This should be on stage at the Adelphi this year.

Is this really a good show? It just stinks of terrible naffness to me.

It can be seen as naffness if you like but very polished, professional, seasonal naffness.
It really is a great show. I saw it in Cardiff and it almost brought tears to my eyes.
It deserves a London run or two and I wouldn't be surprised if that happens next year.

I'm not so sure that I do...
Still if there is a power failure this crimbo, I'll be able to use all the flyers that the Lowry constantly sends me to try and get me to watch this, to build a nice roaring fire!

I saw the show in Southampton and it really is a good show, a billion times better than what they are offering us this year.

Also saw it in Southampton. It really is very very good. You cant expect high art, but its a warm hearted festive production with actually high west end production values (well it did in Southampton). And Southampton hasnt matched it at Christmas since

I also saw it in Cardiff and thought it was lovely-a nice addition or alternative to panto at Christmas, it's cheesey but it's wonderful old fashioned cheese and that's the best kind, I'm jealous of Manchester this Christmas as we'll be having a Les Mis Christmas down here!
Maybe I'm on nobody's side http://phdconfessions.blogspot.com/

'Les Miz' at Christmas!
That makes me laugh. Christmas has the highest amount of suicide than at any other time of year.
Watch out Cardiff!
Lots of dead sheep around in Dec /Jan.
