Sounds like she is pregnant. I mean, how could a role as Elphaba be "growing a little more everyday"? But hey, I don't have any insider info. I wouldn't mind her being Elphaba though...
How exactly is the fact that she's pregnant exciting news for her fans? That's only exciting to her, her husband, and family.
FWIW, I've heard she is going into Wicked as well.

It doesn't say "exciting to fans". It just says exciting.
If she was pregnant, I highly doubt she would be hinting around it like she is, and waiting until she leaves Heights to make a big announcement about it.

Is " growing" figuratively, NOT literally! Cmon, Peeps
Good point alightinthedark. Elphaba it is! But than what is growing?
Ah! I love how Mandy tweeted about this. <3
She is going to be phenomenal.
In celebration:
I whipped this up quickly.
I sincerely hope this means that she is playing Elphaba. I've always wanted to see her in that role. Anyway, as for her tweet, maybe she meant that her resume is growing. I really don't think that she is pregnant.

TheatreFan4 - Talk about skills!!! Very well done. :)
BroadwayBound92-makes sense to me! Thank you.
and TheatreFan, what rmusic said.
Thank you guys.
Mandy with Katie Rose Clarke:
Am I the only one who does not want to see her in the role? Maybe I just need to her live or something.
I saw In the Heights yesterday and I got to talk to her for a second. I asked Mandy if she was going into Wicked. And she said that she couldn't make a comment (I love her, but this is the second time this has happened. Do they need approval from the producers that say they can tell people where they are going?).
I then proceeded to tell her that I was hoping to see her when I go on February 3rd and she said that she hopes I really enjoy the show which means she was kinda hinting that she will start performance on February 2nd, only a couple of days after she leaves ITH.
Just thought I would share.

I think it's pretty obvious. I really liked her in ITH (despite the fact that she looks way too old for the role of Nine), and I think she'll be fabulous as Elphaba.

Yep. If she says anything before the producers want her to then they can easily drop her.

I definitely think she is in fact doing Wicked, but I wouldn't really assume she is starting performance on 2/2 just because she said enjoy the show. I mean she could just be polite and tell you that.

who knows what "HUGE" rehearsals mean to her sister. You can't just assume she would be starting on that date because she said she hopes you enjoy the show. That's just a common courtesy if anything.
Then why did her sister say that she is in a lot of rehearsals unless they need her ASAP.
They don't need her ASAP. They have fully capable understudies & standbys that could do the show for a week.

I was thinking the same thing. There is no rush to get her in there, and we have no idea how long the current Elphaba (Dee Ravioli) is signed for. It is quite apparent that Mandy will be the next Elphaba, the question is when.

The shorter the better. She is boring as hell.

And she makes weird faces when she sings.
