He really has such range. From a high pitched Opera star to a Broadway belt.
I am seeing it again manana.

It is *astonishing* how he is so well known for that one line.

Tons of my non-theatre friends know his name, but only b/c of "The Princess Bride"

that is the only thing I like him in. I do not like his voice (sorry, everyone) but he is a great actor.

The man has a voice to die for. Just so beautiful.
But what is even better is his humor.
I really like him.

Everything I have heard him sing, he sounds like someone has a firm grasp on his testicles (Matt_G, let go) so he has to sound all high pitched all the time. It gets really annoying. At parts on the Wild Party, he goes out of his falsetto and it sounds good but then he goes right back.

Spider!! tsk, tsk... If it wasn't because of our mutual love for Anthony Warlow, you'd be in trouble right now. re: Mandy

Have you heard Mandy Patinkin in Sunday In the Park With George? The man is incredible. Updated On: 10/5/04 at 02:49 AM

When I saw him about 10 years ago, he ended the show with "I am Indigo Montoya...you killed my father...prepare to die!"

Does he still do that?

I thought his singing license was revoked. I had a singing restraining order against him. He can not sing anywhere near me or he will be banished.

PEACE.

don't worry Sueleen, I'm sure there are plenty of places where his singing would be welcomed with open arms...so there's no concern about him bothering you.

I loved him in Evita. I hope he sings some of those songs. I also liked him in Chicago Hope.

He still does close with the Montoya line when he feels like it...but not all the time.

Saw Mandy last night and loved him!!!!!!!!!! What a great range he has. He was very funny especially when this couple came in late for the show. Something like what Hugh Jackman did in Boy from Oz when someone came in late.
