I've been saying this for years. Elaine Stritch needs to be on Desperate Housewives! And Marc Cherry agrees.

"I would love to work with Mary Tyler Moore, Vanessa Redgrave and folks like Elaine Stritch, who I'm going to try to get to Wisteria Lane at some point," Cherry said. "I'm always attracted to those grand ol' dames."
