Oh my god! Just saw the photo of Marc naked in the tub singing from the show! Is this coming to NY! I must see him in the flesh.

I saw it...I doubt it will come to NYC, at least not anytime soon. The musical is still in its early stages -- there is some problematic writing still (that even the creative team identified) that was treated harshly by critics. I disagreed with the critics and really enjoyed the show -- it's incredibly moving and very artistic/interpretive -- it takes alot of work to watch...

I could have done without seeing Marc Kudisch in the flesh however. And he most certainly was in the flesh.

I assure you the musical itself was much more exciting and entertaining than the 20 seconds of naked Marc Kudisch. Jason Danieley and Judy Kuhn were both incredible.

baddad: Gee whiz, kid, download some porn or something. If Kudisch is naked in the show, it's because it plays in the show within the context (unless you are doing Dracula and then you just use gratuitous nudity to attract a crowd -- NOT).

This isn't a stripper show. The guy is an actor, not a piece of meat. Let the flaming begin!

I can and have enjoyed porn very often. However, it is nice to see an attractive man on stage in the flesh in a non-porn setting. Just as one might enjoy a piece of art or a statue of a naked man/women, it is nice to see an attractive actor naked.

And I certainly hope all the people who get up in arms over Marc being "treated like a piece of meat" (prime sirloin, if you ask me) are defending the humanity of the actors who get trashed on here for not signing autographs when and where they want them. Seems we like them to be commodities except when it comes to being sex objects.
