are you serious? the movie was already in theaters and i own it on dvd. it IS a terrible movie, but certain parts are hysterical. like the boys singing and lisa kudrow trying to rap...

i bumped it with a picture from the movie for some people who hadnt seen it cuz I was reading all the posts i missed in the past four months that ive been gone.

the movie did pretty badly yeah. i saw it in theaters though and laughed my A** off.

I knew I'd LOVE this movie!!! I finally saw it and...I love it IN THE BUTT! Well, you've got to "get" Paul Rudnick's humor, which I do. Definitely a "gay sensibility." Remember the Oscar ceremony scenes from In or Out? If you couldn't stop laughing at the scenes from the "nominated pictures," then I think you'll probably find Marci X hysterical. The big treat for me was seeing all the Broadway names in the film. Especially Sherie Rene Scott, who steals every scene she's in. Why doesn't she do more film work? Loved her in the San Diego preview of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and in this she's pretty and funny and sexy. Veanne Cox is a Goddess...just saw her three times in Caroline, or Change, and in this film, she is her usual quirky funny self. Boys4Us...soooo cute and sexy! I saw Matthew Morrison in Hairspray in L.A. Hunnnnky! And now I know why BG2 loves Adam Fleming. He is adorable. (Not the best smile, but every other expression...I watched his brief moments in slow-mo, just to savor.) Christine Baranski--a hoot as always. PaulLW, your friend Andrew is also a scene stealer in the role of Christine's (gay in the making?) son. Tell him I said so. I can see why some people would hate this film, but we'd probably disagree about everything else. It would be rude of me to say they have no sense of humor, just not the right one for Marci X.
