I just saw Martin Short's new show and I have two questions. I read on this site that there was a false ending, but there was no false ending this past Saturday afternoon. Has it been removed from the show? Also, I read that there was a heckler, but the only fake heckler on Saturday was Martin's "brother." Have there been lots of changes to this show?

There must of. Good for them. They really needed to get rid of that false ending. Marty's brother cameo has not changed though.

No "fake" ending in Saturdays show. Just the fake brother heckling....

If I remmeber correctly, the ensemble sings a refrain of "Another One Man Show" much in the way "Do you hear the people sing" ended "Les Mis" but then Short comes back to sing a sweet little song, the title of which escapes me, as he drinks a glass of champagne and reflects on his many blessings.

Hawk, the sweet little song is " GLASS HALF FULL " I enjoyed the show.
Break a leg everyone, on your opening, hope all the critics are at least civilized.

Re: Hawk

The thing about the show was that there were some brilliantly funny one liners and if I recall that song's lyrics contained what was to be the original title: "If I saved, I wouldn't have been here."

CAUTION: MINOR SPOILER

I thought the hook to that song was the most touching moment in the show and although I don't know the real man, it seemed like Short really meant it when he sang to the audience "But then I wouldn't have met you."
