Does anyone know how long The Marvelous Wonderettes is going to run for?
I went and saw it last night and WOW! The show is awesome! Between the very talented cast, the beautiful set, and the laugh-out-loud moments, I thought this show was one of the better things I've seen Off-Broadway! I really felt like I was a part of the show! Like I knew the characters.
Anyway, here's a place for all of us to talk about what we love the most about the Marvelous Wonderettes! My favorite is Suzy, who's yours?

I was disappointed with this show. I love the genre, I loved "Forever Plaid," "The Taffetas," "Beehive," and "Leader of the Pack."
This one felt a bit like Mrs. Magillicudy's 3rd Grade Pageant. There was not even a remote story, no reason for those girls to be up there singing those songs. (They're at a prom, singing all night??) Even the sketchy "pajama party" that held "Beehive" together was more entertaining, and made more sense.
And the cast was less than optimal. Other than Farah Alvin (who was terrific), it felt a bit like community theatre, to me.

I wish I could see it! I loved it when it ran in LA :) Suzy is also my favorite character. I love her laugh in "Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me"!!!!
*EDIT*
I think you guys are looking to deep into this. This show isn't supposed to have any deep plot or anything. The show is just meant for people to have fun! And it does a wonderful job! It was one of the most entertaining nights at the theater for me this year :)
