A MONTH IN THE COUNTRY at Classic Stage Company

Anyone?
Curious Incident...Comparing Christophers

Does anyone know if Taylor's schedule is still just Wednesday evenings and Sunday matinees?
The Real Thing Rush?

Has anyone had any luck with this?
Hair Hollywood Bowl Dress

This is opening so soon, why has there been no rehearsal footage or pictures released? Unless I missed them...
Fool for Love at WTF - Anyone Seen It?

As far-fetched as it is, I would give anything for the production to transfer to New York. Would love to see Nina Arianda in this. Also reviewers are really loving it!
Seth Rudetsky's

Anne is incredibly talented and a wonderful person!

I saw a video of her singing a song from the Cyrano musical on youtube a while ago. I can't remember the title of it, and I haven't been able to find it on there since. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

How many Tennessee Williams plays have you seen?

I second that we need a revival of Sweet Bird of Youth. I would love to see it live!
Stage Kiss- Playwrights Horizons

Anyone seeing Sarah Ruhl's Stage Kiss? I think the first performance was tonight. Ruhl is definitely one of my favorite playwrights. I would love to know people's thoughts.
Barnum DVD

Double post.
Barnum DVD

I can't tell you how many times I have watched that DVD.
Who should we see more of?

SARA RAMIREZ.
Great New Plays?

Oh sorry Broadwaybelter, I didn't see your post. Yeah, I'm looking for published plays. Just ones that have had recent premieres.

These are excellent suggestions everyone!

Great New Plays?

Hello all!
I'm looking for some contemporary plays that are really current and age appropriate(ish) for college students. Preferably ones written within the last couple years. Anyone see any awesome premieres lately? Off-Broadway, regional, etc

OUR best of 2013 lists

1. Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? By far the best thing I have seen this year. Just on a completely different level than anything else I saw.

2. The Glass Menagerie
3. Pippin
4. Scottsboro Boys (Los Angeles)
5. The Mystery of Edwin Drood
6. Matilda

Standout performances, 2013

Amy Morton, Tracy Letts, and Carrie Coon- Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Rachel Bay Jones- Pippin
Cast of Glass Menagerie

Macbeth Starts tonight

I also agree that the production is STUNNING. Wonderful scenic and brilliant lighting design. They really take advantage of the scope of the Vivian Beaumont. Anne-Marie Duff and the witches were great. Overall, I enjoyed the production if only because of how epic it felt. There was a very film-like quality to it. Some solid performances.
Nine Arianda Starring in MTC's Red Vienna

I missed her in Venus in Fur, so I am very excited for this production!

Roundabout Threepenny Opera License?

Thank you guys! I will look into it.
Roundabout Threepenny Opera License?

Does anyone know if the Wallace Shawn translation of The Threepenny Opera (the one used for the Roundabout production) is available for license? I haven't found anything, but I would love to use that particular translation.
Alli Mauzey is returning to Wicked.... again

I also agree that Jenn was not the best. Way too campy...
