I think it's one of the greatest accomplishments of the Season to have impressed enough people to be included in this category with these other wonderful Singer/Actresses. I hope this softens the blow of the Off-Broadway run being whacked. Brava Ms. Davies!

I'm happy she's been nominated but I just remembered I saw her alternate, Kacee Clanton! Kacee was captivating and not one moment went by that I didn't think I was watching the real Janis - wish I could have seen Mary.
