I searched for this topic and found nothing, but in a review I read a while back about mary poppins and the person said they purchased thirty dollar box seats for the show. Does anyone know if the tickets are sold day of, can i buy them online, or if they even do exist? any info would be great thanks!!

As far as I know, you have to buy them at the box office
You can get them online when you select the $30 price range. Now word to the wise they are partial view and you do miss roughly 20% of the stage. I have sat in box seats twice for this show and loved my view. I recommend them to anybody who wants to see this show for cheap.

For a third go-round:
Boxes 11 and 12 offer the best and closest to full view.
Do you need to be in row A or are all the seats ok- even though partial view in boxes 11 and 12? Do you miss anything important if you get these seats?

I wouldn't recommend any other Box than 11 or 12 (2 seats each).

What about the mezzanine boxes that are $50? Are those decent seats? Or are they too obstructed?
Quick question ~ Are all the boxes 2 seats each? Or do some have more?
Last summer, I sat in Orch. Right, Box 2. I picked up the ticket that day at the Box Office. The man said that roughly 20% of the stage would be blocked, but there would otherwise be no other obstructions. I asked him to verify that once again, and he assured me that the only obstruction was the proscenium itself. Boy was he wrong. I got to the seat, and yes the far right part of the stage was obstructed, but there was also a lighting fixture right in front of my face. It completely blocked my entire view of the stage. I spent the entire first act trying to catch a glimpse of the action around it. When I approached an usher at intermission, she told me the show was sold out and there was nothing she could do. I found one empty seat on the floor and snagged it for the second act. I don't know how the other boxes are, but I would avoid box 2 at all costs. I've kept the receipt all this time and have thought about writing a letter to Disney in the hopes that they might dash me off a few unobstructed tickets. I'm guessing that it's now been too long. Ah well. Anyways, it's a fantastic show. Go see it if you can. :)
I had crappy rear balcony seats with the pipes. I want to see this again with better seats. Maybe I'll buy box seats this summer.
On a whim I went by the theatre yesterday afternoon and got a seat in Box 10 for last night's show. LOVED it. I'm seriously calling my dad today and seeing if he REALLY wants to see Wicked (we'll have to try lotto since we only snagged 2 seats ~ for my mom and sister) or if he wants to see Mary Poppins. If he does, I'm definitely going by the theatre and seeing if they have 9, 10, 11, or 12 for birthday day. Who cares if I'm not the target demo for the show. I think it would make a GREAT birthday show.
I actually think it's the best musical Disney has done, and that's saying a lot from me because Poppins is my favorite Disney movie. I may be 29, but I still go to the Mary Poppins breakfast at the Grand Floridian whenever I'm in Disney World.

Do you think getting box seats for tomorrow night's show would be particularly difficult to snag tomorrow morning? I'm probably going with 2 others. I looked up tickets online but I'm assuming box seats are sold only at the box office. (This thread's a bit vague in that department)
I got $30 rear balcony seats and they were great (really far away but still great!).

Boxes 11 and 12 sometimes come up as under the $30 balcony seating option on Ticketmaster.com (which is how I ended up getting Box 11 last year). The best bet is to go to the box office itself..I've never tried calling for one, so I do not know if that is an option.
i sat in box 10 last year and it was GREAT! that is the only place where I would want to sit ever again. and I found the tickets the night before ONLINE thru ticketmaster.

So I got to the theater today about 11:15 and they had no box seats left for either performance. I ended up just getting balcony seats for the same price.
Is anyone familiar with the view from Box 5?
That was the furthest box they had for tonight (bringing a friend in town who wanted to see anything Disney) and I'm wondering just what we're in for in terms of how obstructed the view will be.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Someone in the show said that box two is the way to go-Mary fliesright past you. Can anyone attest to that?
