I don't get it. Laura Michelle Kelly won a Olivier Award. Wouldn't they bring her over? I know there's some kind of conflict going on between her and Mackintosh, but doesn't prestiegge (sp.) matter?

hehe I was reading this..and was thinking...now where is Gretchen's reply!? and then I see it!! haha I too would LOVE to see Erin in this role...I will cross my fingers for that!

HAHA! You guys know me too well! Always plugging for Erin! After all she is one of my very favorite people! She has a special place in my heart:)
What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block

I do admit that I was wrong about Lion King. My source was a person close to the production, and I am not making excuses, but I do not rely on that particular person anymore for information.

And as I said before, I am not hearing clear confirmations, but rather that she is still very much in there.
I am going to the Disney preview thing in 2 weeks and I am sure they should have her cast by then...
