I've been wondering...is the image projected onto a scrim?

I don't think so. It's painted (or whatever) onto it.

It might be painted on Broadway but in London it wasn't because the image of the house got bigger and zoomed in, and during intermission snow appeared on the house.

I thought it might be so.

In NY, they don't zoom in on the house, but they do have the whole swriling cloud thing before it initially rises.

there is a difference. Tarzan is just a bunch of people on fishing poles bouncing around like monkees. WAIT THEY ARE MONKEES (kinda)then with superior acting and singing

I can say the same thing for Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins is just a nanny flying around on an umbrella and acting like she has a terrible british accent. WAIT SHE DOES HAVE A TERRIBLE BRITISH ACCENT with ok acting and singing.

^she flies what? twice, and yes she does have a terrible accent but her singing is very fit for the show
