I see Celia Keenan Bolger as Helen, I think she'd be smashing! She might be a bit old though.
And maybe Judy Kuhn as Anne Sullivan?

Jenna Russell will absolutely win the Tony Award this year. Good for you Patti for being able to do what you've always wanted, and you are 110% AMAZING at it. However, Jenna Russell as Dot, ripped my heart out of my chest and ran with it. She unmistakably gives one of the best female performances of the past decade. I never, ever, cared for Bernadette's Dot, or for that matter, Dot as a character. Yet Russell found a way to bring an immense amount of life and depth to the character, and she does

It should close on broadway too, along with Tarzan, and little Mermaid after about a month of opening. They are closing their only good show, BATB. It's a shame.

I think Streep is a great choice. You know the studio was going to pick a big name to play the part, at least they got an excellent actress to do it. Be happy the role is in the hands of a respectable artist who will do everything she can to make it powerful. Streeps take on the role will be very different I feel, but equally as good.
