I tried looking through the search but couldn't find a recent thread about this, but where would you guys recommend sitting in the New Amsterdam for Mary Poppins?

where ever the show is currently on tour. I'm 6'4" and hate the New Amsterdam. Worst leg room on Broadway.

Oh I'm sorry, if $$ is no object, i'd sit at front of Mezz, so you have great view of stage as well as the final fly out.

Front row of front mezz has about 1 inch more legroom. Sit on aisle of right hand section.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Worst leg room on Broadway.

I thought that that the Mezz of the Lunt-Fontanne had the worst leg room.

Or the mezz at Studio 54. Awful.

I sat Orch for Drood, so I can't comment on that. But during ADDAMS I almost left because the leg room hurt so bad.
