Do you think i'll be able to snag 1 Standing Room ticket at Mary Poppins at the Tuesday, April 17th show? If so.. what time should I be there to buy a ticket?
I'm pretty sure you will not be able too since they don't sell Standing Room. You may be able to snag a $20 balcony ticket.

They told me that they do not sell standing room. What do you have to do to get standing room tickets?
BroadwaySinger2, where do you get this information from?

Mary Poppins does sell standing room tickets only when the show is sold out. You can get them at the box office in the mornings when it opens usually around 9. They range from 25 to 15 dollars if I am not mistaken and you are in the Mezz or Orchestra level. The cheapest ticket that they have is 40 dollar Balcony...but there balcony is not that bad..you actually can see pretty well! Hope that helped you! It's a great show!
Are you people sure because I know they sold them for The Lion King and as of three weeks ago they had still not had any policy for Standing Room for Mary Poppins.

I am VERY sure that they are selling standing room! They started around the beginning of March!
I called the ticket office 2 weeks ago, and was told they had standing room. Haven't done it yet, but I was told they do.
Let me clear things up, When Lion King was playing there they had standing room. But, when Poppins got in there they got rid of it. Why, I don't know. But, there are people assuming that the theatre has standing room when they had it for Lion King so they have it for Poppins.

Was able to get standing room tickets for last night's sold out show. They sell them for $20 in the orchestra and $15 in the mezzanine. Wonderful view and great show.
I had standing room the orchestra level today, the view was pretty decent and they were 20$.

You can only get standing room after the show sells out. But--go to the box office and ask about partial view box seats. They're great; you don't miss anything, and they are are really cheap. They just don't advertise them.
Has anybody tried to do standing room at Mary Poppins lately? I'm wondering about the likelihood of their selling out on a Thursday night in the middle of the summer.
