Don't SRO Mary Poppins! For $30 you can buy tickets in the box seats and these seats are much, much better than sro. With SRO you tend to miss alot with this show because parts of the story take place in the air.
You can get these tickets off a ticketmaster and I highly recommend them. This is one of the best offers out there.

Posted: 6/17/07 at 7:16pmThe rear balcony seats used to be $20, but I believe they went up to $30 (dunno if those are just for weekends). I'm wondering how to get the box seats now too. Which box seat is least obstructed, if that makes sense?
ThankstoPhantom

I have experience with ordering the box seats.
I bought my tickets at ticketmaster.com and was planning on sitting in the rear balcony for $30, so I selected that (there is NO LISTING for Boxes by themselves).
For whatever reason, they randomly gave me box seats instead. They must be under the rear balcony listing. If you want them specifically instead of luck of the drawer, call ticketmaster...you'll probably have better luck with that.
DO NOT sit in ANY of the boxes from 1-10. You WILL have a miserable time, as they are too close, and the view is badly obstructred. Sit in either Box 11 or 12. I sat in 11. They are close, but far enough away where you can see over 90% of the stage. It was fantastic.
The people in the closer boxes were complaining all through intermission. We didn't. Boxes 11 and 12 are STEALS. For $30, you're VERY close, with an almost full view!
So, recap...call in, as ticketmaster.com is luck of the drawer. Sit in Box 11 or 12.

Posted: 6/17/07 at 7:25pmThanks. I think I'll just go to the box office since I'm here anyway. :) Just thought I'd see if there was an easy way online.

Posted: 6/17/07 at 8:57pmBut I'm not sure how ticketmaster would respond if I asked them for either box 11 or 12. Haha. They probably wouldn't give them to me. Usually, I don't think you can just ask for a specific box, unless I'm completely wrong.

Posted: 6/17/07 at 9:16pmYou can ask for what ever you want. If they have those seats and you want them, they will give them to you. Its their job to sell the tickets, and make you happy.
