re: Mary Stuart in 2009

Not announced yet.

We've got to wait and see what closes and/or flops out. It will be a Shubert house and All My Sons is in for a limited stand at the Plymouth; I think Speed The Plow could be a limited run at the Belasco; 39 Steps (Cort) is iffy for a long run; Boeingx2 who knows, except it isn't setting the money tree on fire; Avenue Q could wind up its smash run; Godspell, Osage, Title of Show are all wild cards. The Broadhurst, post-Equus, will probably be saved for a musical.

I think Mary Stuart would look best at Circle/Square except the small capacity and large cast would limit the profitability factor.

It has a confirmed Shubert house already.

Large cast? My understanding was that there were only about 10 or so in the company...does anyone have a complete cast list from the West End production? Curious now..
