I happened to see Matilda in London last summer (It was amazing.) I purchased the cast recording on iTunes, but it never said which actress was chosen to sing the role of Matilda on the recording. I also heard that all four actresses appear on the cd. If anyone has a lyric book, does it state which actress sings which song?

The cast recording was made of the Stratford cast, which used only three girls to play Matilda-- Adrianna Bertola, Josie Griffiths and Kerry Ingram--who all appear on the CD.

That is the one huge disadvantage to purchasing online cast recordings; no liner notes. I don't see why iTunes or Amazon can't send them along as a PDF file with each purchase.
^ iTunes usually does. It's called the digital booklet and you can only get it by downloading the whole album. I have them for Dogfight, and Carrie. But maybe because Matilda was from the UK, they couldn't get it.
>> "iTunes usually does."
My experience has been that iTunes "sometimes" does. Additionally, should you find a need to re-download your purchase, iTunes often omits the digital booklet, and you need to jump through some unnecessary hoops to restore it.
I've never seen anything "official" in print regarding who sings what, but from various internet sources it may be that:
Adrianna Bertola sings "Quiet"
Josie Griffiths sings "Naughty"
That would leave Kerry Ingram open for "The Escapologist", but I can't prove that's the case.
^Typically itunes and other digital media services don't really have a say in whether or not a digital booklet is available for an album. It's up to the record label to provide it. It's not like itunes picks and chooses which albums get a digital booklet and which don't.
Wow, I've been played the cd a million times and never realized it was different girls.
I also just looked through the booklet and I didn't see any notation as to which girl sang what.
That is often the case on cast recordings with child actors - they list everyone who played the role rather than who is actually singing.
