Matilda is my 1st show choice during my September vacation. Unfortunately due to some unforeseen bills the most I can spend on a ticket is around $100. I have having trouble selecting an area of the theatre, as I have never been to the Shubert Theatre and cannot find a current photo of the seating area. Any advice is welcome.
1. Partial View Upfront Rows A-E (These are the far left and right side seats)
2. Mezzanine Row G Center
3. Balcony Left Row B Aisle Seat
Thank You!

the partial views for that show in that theater are awful in my opinion, theyre just too far angled.
i couldnt tell you about the others though i would guess Mezz Center G would be better

When I saw it, I sat in Orchestra A17, one seat off the far left aisle. It was a perfect view and I can't imagine that sitting one seat over would hide a noticable amount of the action. The set design is pretty incredible and sitting close will allow you to see its intricacies better. Most of the show plays to the center of the stage so I don't think you'd miss much at all. The woman sitting next to me in 19 wasn't stretching for a better view and seemed to be very happy with her seat.

Posted: 8/2/13 at 4:34pmI have at sat in both partial view and Mezz row G. I would say partial view are way better. You do not miss most and you will love having the action so close. The Mezz. row G and back sem very far back.
