Ive seen Matilda, but I was in the Mezz. How tall is the stage? Is the front row a good or bad choice? We will have a 9 year old with us, and he has seen shows on Broadway and loves them.
The stage for Matilda is pretty low. I've sat 2nd row all the way to the side and it was pretty good. The only thing was sometimes actors will block other actors, but if you get center seats it should be better. And those seats were still good and slightly less expensive then the center ones so it's definitely worth it! Enjoy the show!
The stage isn't very high. However, I'd recommend sitting a few rows back but still in the front little section of the orchestra. I've sat there multiple times and never felt like I had to crane my neck to see what was happening on stage.
