Matt Caplan "Mark" in RENT

The guy who plays Mark full time is having a CD release party on Thursday. I just listened to his music at www.cdbaby.com/cd/mattcaplan for free. He is NOT a typical Mark. I think I HAVE to go see him on Thursday.

That's true... he is not the 'typical' Mark. All the typical Marks open their mouths when they speak and sing on stage. Matt Caplan doesn't! He does my head in.

I can't get the clips to work, but I liked his earlier stuff on his debut CD. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of that now? CDStreet was out last time i checked.....

i loved him as mark. i have seen 3 people as mark and he was really good. he was very different from joey fatone the poor guy has to get moved to a standby again in the fall.

hey crazyformatt he was kinda different they joey in that he was exactly good. he could hot the notes and act. joey is a TCS.

I encouage everyone in NY to go to his CD release party. He is amazing as Mark, but his solo music is what made me love him. Its really good acoustic guitar, with anxsty (sp?) folk rock. His lyrics are real poetry, and I just love it.
