Anyone know when their contracts expire? I heard July for the both of them, and that they're leaving on the same date? Anyone know when that is? Thanks!

i believe that they are contracted through july along with karmine alers, but they have the option to extend.

i personally adore the three of them in this show. i'm definitley hoping that they will extend! :)

does that mean matt took a shorter contract that cary? cause didn't matt come in in march (after drew) and for some reason i feel like cary's been there longer...

Cary and Karmine are both contracted through July. As LittleWing said, Matt came back in March. His contract is up at some point in September.

I hope the three of them stay at RENT! When I went to see the show like 2 weeks ago, I thought this was the best cast I've seen so far. I'm not really a RENT fan but I liked Cary, Matt and Karmine. I go because my sister is a huge fan.

I would be *ok* with it if Karmine extended her contract, but DEFINITELY wouldn't object if CLM took over for her!

i love the three of them. i went to see it the last two thursdays of april and karmine wasn't in it. i'm not sure if it wasn't my night or what. but i believe domique was mimi again last night. and my friend went tonight and said caren was mimi. where is karmine?! she's part of the reason why i go. she's amazing

I want to see Cary one last time beofre he goes I dont think that will happen. I unfortunately didn't see Karmine when i went.

Btw, one reason I want to see this cast is because of Karmine. I hae heard nothing but good stuff about her, and I have yet to see a Mimi that is good alround(dancing, acting, singing). This seems to be my chance to see a REAL Mimi!
