Matthew Morrison is kicking off the 15th season of Bay Area Cabaret on Sept. 30 in San Francisco. And in an exclusive interview for BroadwayWorld.com, he chatted about most everything under the sun. As far as we know, it's the first time he's addressed Harvey Weinstein and how his producer ''turned off … the Broadway community'' during the run of ''Finding Neverland.'' Matt also gives us a sneak peek at ''The Greatest Dancer,'' his new BBC talent show with Simon Cowell, and shares his hopes to create a Museum of Dance. Plus, he gets real about fatherhood, family and turning 40.

City of angels is a great show. It would be good to see that revived on Broadway. See him more as a Stine than Stone though .

Any other ''City of Angels'' fans out there? Or anyone who remembers the original 1989 production? It's definitely overdue for a Broadway revival. … Sunny11. if you see Matt more as a Stine, who would you cast as Stone? Even though he said he was doing Stone at this sitzprobe, he added that playing Stine ''was not off the table.'' I wonder if Matt might do a ''City of Angels'' where he and another actor trade roles, depending on the days or nights.
Sort of like how Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon did in the latest ''The Little Foxes.'' Or Philip Seymour Hoffman and John C. Reilly in 2000 revival of ''True West.'' How about that idea? ![]()

I saw the national tour at the late, great Shubert in LA, but, yes, of course, I remember it.
Steven Pasquale for Stone, no question. Though nobody should be made to sing that awful exercise in lame double entendres, "The Tennis Song".

Think this show is perfect for Matt.
I agree Stine is a better fit for him.
But him and Stephen together would be incredible.

Matt and Steven would be a dynamite duo in ''City of Angels.''
Meantime, anyone remember Matt being in a boy band called LMNT? In plugging this BWW interview, BoyCulture.com uncovered this photo of young Matt from his teen-magazine days.
