With Julianna Margulies going into FESTEN, Gloria Reuben playing Condi Rice in STUFF HAPPENS, and now this casting news, it really is the season of ER on (and off) Broadway!

I know of people who saw this one in London and were less than impressed with Mr Schwimmer who was in the lead... So I hope you get someone better for Broadway...

McCormack, Tierney go off-Broadway

NEW YORK -- "Will & Grace" is ending its long television run in May - and Eric McCormack already has his next job - going off-Broadway to appear with Maura Tierney, another TV favorite, in Neil LaBute's play "Some Girl(s)".

I didn't have a problem with Schwimmer. It was the play which was disappointing. It was far too predictable. I suppose it didn't help having seen a brilliant production of LaBute's far superior play, 'This Is How It Goes' in the afternoon. It definitely killed 'Some Girls' stone dead.

Yay! Tierney is an AMAZING actress on screen. I loved her in Scotland PA, and ER has been one of my favorite shows for years. I hope I get the chance to see her live!

Sounds like a gimmicky play but I'd totally go see Eric McCormack on stage.

It was an okay play, just very sitcommy and felt like it had been written for sitcom actors, which by the looks of McCormack's casting is true. But still, he'll be good in the role.

Talk about ER women on stage ... Alex Kingston is currently in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest here in London, with Christian Slater. Oh, and for whoever wrote the Theatre News article, Abby's not a nurse anymore.

I was worried that tickets for this might be hard to get after the subscribers' only period, but, they went on sale today and I got a good seat.

Oh I'm SOOOO going to see Maura!!! As soon as tix go on sale, I'm going to see her! I love her on ER!
