Actually, that one didn't hit me too hard - I remember thinking, I hope this isn't the big heartrending ballad that everyone on BWW has been talking about, because it's not getting to me. But she got me with Days of Plenty. I don't want to ruin it for anyone else, but you know the killer moment in the song that I'm talking about...

I saw her understudy at Duke. She was very good, in my opinion, not as good as Maureen, who is wonderful, but she was good. Her name is Anne K-something, I think.

I'm PO'd! I have tickets for the evening show next Saturday. I thought we had them for the matinee!

Aw, thanks! Is Maureen above the title? I don't think so, but she is A NAME, so....maybe we won't have a problem. I'll have to talk to my friend. She probably won't want to. I just may have to make another visit.

Unfortunately, the only one with above-the-title billing is that Foster chick. Probably because she has a Tony. WhatEVer. I would call Ticketmaster or Telecharge, whichever one they're on, and ask them.

I agree with Maureen not getting over the title billing, b/c it will put her in the supporting category, where she will easily win.

I don't know about that - from all we're hearing about Sara Ramirez...and if OPPOSITE OF SEX gets a theater, you know Ziemba will be nominated, she always is...competition could be pretty stiff.

You saw it? I don't know if you've read my postings about this on other threads, but they are having presentations for investors next week, so it's possible they're looking at having a theater by Tony time this year.

My wife's brother lives in San Francisco, so we saw it when we visited him. Plus, I love the movie. So funny!

Kerry and Karen both deserve noms, but I don't think there's a free theatre on B'Way.

Also, as soon as a theatre becomes vacant, they will probably use it for "Doubt".

As good as Ms. McGovern is, her understudy does very well in the role of Marmee. I doubt they will exchange your tix, as her name is not above the title.
