I just got tickets for the encore performance of Max Von Essen in the Broadway Spotlight Concert at the Ars Nova on Jan. 18th. I'm so excited.
Even though I've never even heard the man sing, I am intrigued to go and see him perform because I've heard great things. What a nice Christmas Present. I'll be sure to report back after I've seen it in 2004!
I'll be there on Jan. 5th... Am looking forward to it!

You will enjoy Max. He is a delight to listen to, not to mention, a very snappy dresser.

I had the pleasure of seeing Max as Jesus.. and let me tell you.. that man is something to see... nice body, incredible voice!
I saw him many times in DOTV, he's got a great voice.
He was excellent in DOTV. What a professional. It doesn't get much better than Max.
I saw him in DOTV and he def. has one one the most beautiful voices on Broadway right now. He's also a very nice guy. I spoke with him at the Broadway Flea Market when he was selling things from Broadway Bares.
I'm glad his voice is being praised, I can't wait to see it.
Does anyone know how large the Ars Nova Theatre is? Its supposedly an intimate setting and seating is first come, first serve. I can't imagine it being too large...
I'll be there as well :)
Max is AWESOME!!! I saw him in Dance of the Vampires. He is such a professional, and his voice is just a pleasure to listen to, you'll love it...If you get a chance to meet him, he is a really cool person to talk to.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!

Has anyone ever been to a Broadway Spotlight Concert? It would be nice to at least say "Thanks" to the performer after the show. Do they hang around afterwards?
Yay, I'm so excited. Actually, I just wanted to respond to bring this message back up to the top of the page so someone will answer. Hooray!
Max’s encore performance is on Monday, January 19th at 8PM
It would be wonderful enough just to listen to his amazing
voice but Max has got some stories that are bound to bring
more than a few giggles. Be prepared to be entertained!

Not that I’m aware of but it sounds like a marvelous idea ~ doesn’t it?
I think it's brilliant!

Yay. I heard Max on a site for the musical "Dorian", and he sounds promising. On his site, he always seems to take his shirt off in every show...
Not that I blame him. If I looked like that I would be shirtless for the rest of my life...
Next time go to Broadway Bares AKA Chippendales on Broadway.
That would be interesting. Do you have to be over 18? If that's the case, maybe next year.
