Does anyone know why there is no performance scheduled for Wednesday October 3rd, 2018 or if they might add the date later? As this is known as "mean girls day" I find it odd that they aren't selling tickets for this day.

Would not be surprised if it is some kind of fan day where free tickets or cheap tickets for the whole theater are put in a lottery.

I'd sooner bet it's for a promotional stunt, like a Fan Day, where all the tickets would be given out via lottery.
