Does anyone know what Megan Hilty has been up to recently? I know she has a role in SMASH and I also heard she has been doing a couple of readings. Does anyone know what shows? I do know she done a reading for the Sleepless In Seattle.

I adored her in 9 to 5 and Wicked and would love to see her back on stage some time soon

She actually has just completed a run as June in 'Gypsy' in New Haven. I heard she was great.

I saw the first episode of Smash and her role is pretty large. I have a feeling that will take off and she will be pretty busy with that.

Her role on SMASH is substantial, but I don't see the show lasting that long despite its pedigree. I was disappointed in the pilot and don't think it would have gotten picked up if not for its high-profile producers and the amount of money already spent developing it.

Have they found a Melinda for On a Clear Day?
Think she'd be a perfect choice opposite Harry Connick Jr.
And I think Megan is a major talent. love her.

Well it will be hard to sell the show past season 1 if the show opens by the finale.

Exactly and that also means new cast members every season should the show continue. Megan Hilty and Katherine McPhee will probably not return the next season since they might not be right for whatever show they'll be writing then.

Though I wonder if the rock score is too much for her vocally, I would like to see her take a turn as Sherrie in Rock of Ages. I think she would nail the acting/comedy of the role.

She is on an episode of "Melissa and Joey" sometime the end of June. ABC Family Channel, I believe.
