most of the hairspray cast members who will be in Legally Blonde are leaving early-mid october. Haylie's contract is up around that time. Why would Becky go in for less then a month? And could they even contract her for that short amount of time? seems incredibly unlikely to me.

also, back to the topic of this thread. I don't think megan could play amber. She's, to be frank, to big. Don't get me wrong, I think she looks healthy and beautiful. But they did cut a former amber's contract short when she began to get too much weight and start leaning toward the tracy side of the scale. Just saying.

Haylie probably thinks that people are raving about her performance.She probably thinks she is working SOOO hard right now.If she think's she is working hard she should go see Sweeney Todd It's sad that someone talented was forced to leave a show just so an untalented B-lister could do the role. Haylie needs to go back to making crappy movies with her sister.

Megan is healthy and not "too big". Is she supposed to be a stick? Megan dosn't look the least bit overweight to me. Broadway actor's have to eat-well and keep healthy to keep their energy up to do 8 show's a week. They are not going to look like Nicole Richie.

i think you misunderstood me. i think megan IS healthy and IS beautiful just as she is. however, her size would not suit her being an amber

This is a bit off topic, but Little Wing's avatar made wonder, wouldn't Alisan Porter be good as Tracy? She'd probably have to gain some weight, but I can imagine her doing it.

She could, but I didn't want to say that so as to avoid certain people having a fit about how only heavyset actresses should play the role.

In one of the other threads it was mentioned that Becky Ulswig is coming back to Hairspray as Amber after Haylie.
