Megan Hilty to star in NBC Adam Carolla pilot

Theatre actress Megan Hilty has landed a role on an NBC pilot that will also star Adam Carolla. She's been great on ost of the shows she's guest-starred on. It'll be great if she does this show full-time if it's picked up for a full season.

An Adam Carolla pilot for NBC?. Oh, Megan will be back on Broadway as quick as you can say "hot tamale cucaracha!".

Carolla's humor isn't of mass appeal and that pilot won't go any further than one test screening.

This one will go suffer the same fate that Marissa Jaret Winokur's ABC TV pilot, and John Lloyd Young's ABC TV pilot, and Norbert Leo Butz's FOX TV pilot... oh, the list is endless. EVERY actor on Broadway heads to Los Angeles during pilot season and many return to their NY roots as quickly as they left.
