Megan Lawrence in The Pajama Game

This is coming from somebody who would be perfectly entertained if Harry Connick, Jr. just sat on the edge of a stage and peeled oranges for two hours...but I absolutely loved The Pajama Game and thought Megan Lawrence (Gladys) is one of the best parts of the show. She is hysterical! I really loved her performance, I think she's a wonderful comedic actress and I hope she gets similar work in the future. Hernando's Hideaway was fantastic!

I'm so hoping she gets nominated come Tony time, and hopefully she'll win. She's so great.

I'd say that Lawrence is the front-runner for the Featured Actress Tony at this point, and deservingly so.

However, one of the gals from THE COLOR PURPLE or THREEPENNY could give her a run for her money.

I will be thrilled if she is nominated!

I think she has three VERY young children at home too...amazing that she still has so much energy to do that show every night! I love when she plays the piano with Harry :)

Yes, she has three children who are all under the age of 5, I believe. It's amazing that a woman who has had so many children in such a short period of time has such a killer body.

Have not seen Pajama Game yet...but may subscribe.
Do any of you subscribe to the Roundabout where you can see four shows for about $200!

oh...by the way...Megan is from Baltimore...very proud of her.

I haven't seen Pajama Game, but if her performance if anything like that in Two Gentlemen of Verona, then she can pick up the show and run away with it. She was fabulous!

She was one of my favorite things about Pajama Game--she's so natural with the physical comedy.
