Okay- So I brought this up in another thread and never got a response. First off, I know that if the current Kennedy Center revival transfers it will transfer with Baranski. This is simply hypothetical...but what do people think?
I've been mulling it over (no pun intended) and I think this woman has what it takes- the voice (not the Karen voice), the comedic timing (is there anyone better?), and the presence (the girl is confident.)
Thoughts?

Posted: 6/4/06 at 1:12amI'm not saying it would ever happen. However, think of Rosie- she did a daily talk show and did two Broadway shows while on it. It's doable.

And my next step would be to cast Megan Lawrence as Gooch (I ADORE Emily- I just don't think this role is really the best fit for her- while she gives a pretty good performance)

Posted: 6/4/06 at 10:34amI agree, she'd be fantastic. Unfortunately, the only way it would happen is if Mame didn't transfer and she had a go with it in another couple of years. I think she will be shooting her talk show in LA, so multi-tasking with Broadway would be out of the question.
