Melanie Griffith & Toni Braxton reviewed

The new Entertainment Weekly (with QUEER EYE on the cover) reviews Melanie in CHICAGO and Toni in AIDA. They say Braxton is miscast but it doesn't matter for the cheesy show (I paraphrased). They say Griffith is not "a stage presence.... Fear, anxiety, and vulnerability waft off her" and she looks like she's "dragging herself through agony." But the show's good enough to survive her. Toni gets a B, Melanie a C-
