Sunday in the Park is my alltime favorite show (having done the National Tour) and though I really loved a lot of the things they did in the Kennedy Center production, I thought Melissa played dot very coldly (as I feel she plays most of her roles) while I think she is a beautiful woman with a lovely voice - I'm always aware of "Technique" when she's performing - I feel that she never completely immerses herself in a role and "lets herself go" (for lack of a better description) I really missed the emotion in "We Do not belong together" at Kennedy center - no one can match Bernadette Peters on that particular song (Though our Dot on tour, Wendy Brown, was phenomenal - she cried every night in that song and had me right there with her, emotionally!))
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!"
Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!
