Sorry, aasjb4ever, that someone responded in a positive way now! Didn't mean to ruin your day!!! Your life seems to be really sad anyways, so that you spend so much time and energy just to make something you don't like look bad!
Sadly you have to live with Memphis on Broadway, no matter what you write here.
But you are lucky: This place is the only place around, where some people think it's kinda cool to spam the board with all your bitching about this show.
If you like it or not: Most of the ratings and reviews are kinda positive out there, so noone really cares about this little "I hate Memphis"-group here.
It must have been really hard for you that Memphis won some Tony's back in June!

Eric0303, I think you've gotten a little ahead of yourself.

It should be: Tonight (Tuesday): 'Promises, Promises'; Wednesday, 'American Idiot'; Thursday, 'Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson.'

As for the 'Memphis' hate, what else is new? It's old. There are some folks on this board who have been predicting this show's demise since LAST fall, and now this Tony-winning musical is coming up on its one-year anniversary of its first preview last Sept. 23. Hey, there are other Broadway shows I don't like, but I don't root for them to 'fade.' I think there's plenty of room on Broadway for all kinds of shows and all kinds of tastes.
