After a ten year absence, Meredith Braun (Sunset Boulevard, Les Miserables, Phantom and the uber flops Bernadette and Out Of The Blue!) returns to performing with the release of her debut solo album on March 26th, 2012.

'Someone Else's Story' is a hand-picked collection of songs from contemporary musical theatre, each one of them telling a very personal story. Composers include Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Michel Legrand, Claude Michel-Schonberg, Stiles and Drewe and Stephen Schwartz.

I've always loved her on the London recording of Sunset, and of course The Muppets' Christmas Carol. It saddens me that her song is cut in that in the wide-screen/theatrical cut on the DVD. Since I didn't see that movie in theaters and for many years only had the VHS version, which kept her song, I thought my DVD was broken the first time I watched it and she just got up and walked away without singing "When Love Is Gone."
