I'm on ticketmaster now and being offered tickets MMEZZ / Row A / 106 - 108. I think thats the rear mezanine, not the front mezanine. but its the first row! so whats the view from up there? is that behind the front mezanine, or is it above the front mezanine? i've never been to that theater so i dont know how it works.
Are you buying for the Ellie Caulkins or the Lunt-Fontanne?
MMezz = Mid Mezzanine. Basically it is the front of the rear mezzanine.
I've never had problems with the mezzanine - some people say it's too far. Personally, I like it.
yeah millie... i dunno what to do! they're still $80 which isnt cheap... but they're front row Mid Mez... grr... i wish i had been in that theater before so i knew... or i wish i could score Front Mez Tickets. I hate that ticketmaster doesnt let u see whats open so u can pick your own seats... is there any way to do that? with ticketmaster? maybe if i call them?
Best way is the box office.
Second best way is to try calling them. It's usually easier for them to tell you more about which seats are available, unlike the Ticketmaster website which doesn't allow you to search for next best available. Try calling them.
thanks millie... so does the mezzanine hang pretty far over the orchestra? i wish i could get an idea of how close the Mid Mez is to the stage (compared to sitting in orchestra).
for example... they have some orchestra seats in Row V, smack in the center... thats about 22 rows back... is that a much better view than Mid Mez, or just about the same because Mez hangs over orchestra anyhow?
Don't know about the overhang, but I sat in that row for Titanic and the seats and view were perfectly fine.
i just called ticketmaster directly and requested front Mezz tickets since ticketmaster.com wasnt offering me any... they had Front Mezz Row B available... center. so i snatched them up. even tho i'm already broke as it is from buying young frankenstein tickets! bleh... :) this show better not suck.

Has anyone seen it in Denver? The theatre looks huge so I was wondering how the seating is there?
I saw Beauty's closing from the mid mezz and it was fine.
