OBC - definately
The performances are much more honest and less "musical theatery" than the '94. And the changes made to the show are not as good. Especially Rich and Happy being replaced with That Frank.

the "OBC" because it includes Sondheims' beautiful "the hills of tomorrow" songs which bookends the show. also, rich and happy is better than that frank, AND the overture is more complete in the OBC.
the revival is the more "complete" recording, but the OBC is the better one to have.

Posted: 10/6/05 at 10:53amI must throw my support to the original, especially if the remastered version actually comes out. The performances seem superior to me, and I love having the original opening and closing.
